BBC 6 MINUTES ENGLISH: Women's Football

Friday 10th September.

Hi guys!

This is our work for next week, together with the listening activity on PASSIONS we haven’t had the chance to check together yet.

Remember YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO HAND THIS IN, JUST GATHER AS MUCH INFO AS YOU CAN and BE READY to talk about it in class on WEDNESDAY.

BBC 6 MINUTES ENGLSIH: WOMEN’S FOOTBALL.

Listen to Catherine and Sam talking about an interesting topic which is closely related to our work: WOMEN’S FOOTBALL.

A couple of ideas to guide you:

• FIND OUT: When was the first OFFICIAL women’s football World Cup?

a) 1970?

b) 1988?

c) 1991?

• WHAT DOES GEMMA CLARKE say about the struggle they had to go through to go PRO in England?

HAPPY WEEKEND for now!

XOXO
